Through my own experience, as a client and a therapist, I have seen how therapy can help support people with both big and small life challenges. Life can be hard, and I strive to provide a safe space for people to explore their vulnerabilities, because the strength to overcome challenges is closer than you think.

My Philosophy

I offer individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy, in person and virtual and work with clients aged 16 years and older. I also offer supervision for both pre-licensed and licensed early-career social work therapists.

My approach to therapy is based on a client-centered and evidence-based model. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I want to walk alongside you through your journey of life, helping you achieve your personal growth and well-being goals while providing you with the support and tools necessary to navigate life's challenges. It's a partnership where we work together toward positive change and increased self-awareness.

Amy Salim, LISW-S, LICDC-CS

I have primarily been working with young adults over the past 15 years in a variety of settings. I enjoy working with clients who are going through life transitions because “adulting” is hard. I often work with clients who are looking to better communication skills, support navigating relationships, setting and keeping boundaries and developing self-compassion. 


I also love working with people in recovery from substance abuse. Now that you have done the hard work of getting sober, maintaining recovery can often bring unforeseen challenges that deserve equal amounts of support and attention, just as your sobriety does.
 

Clients often come to me feeling unsure of themselves and hesitant about their direction in life. After a handful of sessions, they report feeling grounded in their identity and more secure in their life journey.
